A Real Estate Company Built on Generations of Experience.

For nearly a century, Eakin Properties has been serving the Northern Virginia community as a trusted, family owned and operated real estate company.

Our History

Founded in the early 20th century on the same core principles of honesty and integrity that guide us today, we strive to bring the highest levels of excellence and value to everything we do. Because, for this family-run firm, business is always personal.

Eakin Properties was founded in 1932, when LeRoy Eakin, Sr. began developing single-family homes in the Northern Virginia area. Acquiring large tracts of land in Fairfax County and Falls Church, LeRoy and his sons quickly grew the company to become one of the region’s most trustworthy, reliable, and successful development companies. Following World War II, Eakin Properties further expanded, developing numerous retail sites and the 800-apartment community at Monticello Falls Church.

Four Generations of Expertise.

Nearly a century later, Eakin Properties continues to be family-run, with the fourth generation of Eakins working in the same offices where LeRoy Eakin, Sr. got his start. The company is now a professionally managed real estate investment firm, built on generations of experience in multifamily, retail, construction, and investment strategy.

Providing Continuous Value Drawn from Nearly a Century of Experience.

When it comes to our firm’s experience, it’s fair to say our generations of industry knowledge far outweigh our size. In fact, we see our nimble size as an asset that enables us to react quickly to changes in the market and to the needs of our clients and investors, providing them with frequent and continuous value. Our expertise spans both residential and commercial asset and property management, value-add development and renovation projects, and acquisitions – all acquired over nearly a combined century of working in real estate.
